James Freeman, silk weaver, of Norwich, Norfolk, son of James Freeman and Elizabeth Hurry, was born in NorwichG on 2 December 18061,2 and baptized at St Edmund's Church, NorwichG, on 7 December 1806.3 He died aged 69 at his home in Devonshire Place, Old Palace Road, NorwichG, on 12 October 1876.4 He married in Lakenham, NorfolkG, on 26 December 1825, Elizabeth Fisher.5
