    "SACKETT'S SHOULDER BRACE AND CHEST EXPANDER, FOR MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN.
    The advantage to be derived from wearing the Shoulder Brace are:-
    No one can be round-shouldered ; they make all erect, as nature intended all people to be.
    There is no depression of the chest, but it is expanded to the fullest extent.
    One misses that uncomfortable feeling which is experienced by all round-shouldered people.
    No weak backs: no spinal disease.
    They serve the purpose of the ordinary suspender as well as the Shoulder Brace.
    Thousands of ladies in all parts of America use them. A great many wear them without stays. The ones for ladies are made with belts attached, so that they may if they choose, attach all the skirts to them, and take the weight from the hips and place it on the shoulder. Anv member of the medical faculty will tell you how beneficial that will be to any lady.
    They are not uncomfortable; one experiences great comfort from the moment they commence to use them.
    They are sold wholesale and retail at 126, KING-STREET, where all orders may be left.
    The common verdict of the many that wear them already, "I would not be without them."

    Deaths on the Same Day
    London, Wednesday
    The Rev. Walter Sackett, superintendent minister of the Ealing Wesleyan Circuit, and his son, Dr. Herbert Leyland Sackett, both died within a few hours of each other in St. Bartholomew's Hospital, West Smith field, from acute blood-poisoning.
    Dr. Leyland Sackett, who was a chief assistant surgeon at the hospital and only 28 years of age, lived at Ealing with his father, who had been in very poor health for some time.
    One day last week the father complained of sore throat, and there were two sores on his forehead. Dr. Leyland Sackett hastily diagnosed the complaint as mumps. He then went to his work at the hospital, where other doctors noticed the first signs of disease on him, diagnosed it as erysipelas and blood poisoning, and put him straight to bed.
    In the meantime his father's illness quickly developed, and a doctor at Ealing diagnosed it also as erysipelas and acute blood poisoning. He was removed from Ealing to the hospital, and although placed in adjoining wards father and son did not see each other.
    The Rev. Walter Sackett, who was 59 years of age, was well known in Wesleyan circles. For some years he was a missionary in India, He was this year's president of the Ealing and Hanwell Free Church Council."

    At the Methodist Church, Lismore, on June 7, the wedding of Miss Ella Sackett, eldest daughter of the late L. Sackett and Mrs. Sackett, of Cathcart Street, Lismore and Mr. J. W. Axtens, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Axtens, of Mosman, was celebrated by the Rev. S. Bonnor. The bride, who was given away by her godfather, Mr. J. A. Perkins, was gowned in ivory chenille satin, trimmed with silver buckles. Her veil and train were of cut tulle, and she wore sprays of orange blossom in her hair. Silver flowers and leaves decorated the train, which was carried by little Dorothy Sweeney, who was dressed in pink satin and silver lace. The bride's bouquet was of eucharist lilies and ferns. The bridesmaids were Miss Winnie Sweeney, in pale pink georgette, with a tulle head-dress, and Miss Gwen Axtens, who wore pale blue georgette, trimmed with ribbon of a deeper shade. She wore a tulle bandeau to match. Both maids carried posies of pale blue and pink sweet peas. Mr. Ian Axtens was best man and Mr. Frank Sackett was groomsman. The reception was held at Cullines, Cathcart-street, Lismore. The bride's mother received the guests in a black morocain ensemble. The bride travelled in a two piece costume of lupin blue pussywillow and a hat en suite."

    "Fire at Lismore
    An unoccupied weatherboard cottage in Dawson-street, Lismore, owned by Mrs L. R. Morris, was destroyed by fire. The house contained six rooms and was well alight when the flames were first noticed. The brigade subdued the fire before much damage had been done but an hour after the brigade had returned to the station the flames burst out again and the work of destruction was completed by the second outbreak. The building was insured for £650. Good work by the brigade saved from destruction by a fire a weatherboard fruit and confectionery shop In Magellan-street Lismore owned by Mrs M. Sackett and occupied by Mrs Andrews. This was the second outbreak in the same building in a few months. The building is insured for £300, and the contents were covered for £200."
