Gad Sacket, son of Daniel Sacket and Mary Weller, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 13 April 17481,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 17 April 1748.4 He died after 1820. He married first in WestfieldG on 11 February 1773, Lucy Williams.1,5,6 She was born in about 17547 and died in WestfieldG on 3 May 1807.8 He married second at the First Church, WestfieldG, on 4 October 1810, Miriam Bancroft.9,10 She was born in about 17447 and died aged 83 in WestfieldG on 9 April 1817.11
     Gad served as a corporal in the American Revolutionary War.12
     In 1790 Gad was living in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG. In his household were one man, five boys, and two females.13
     Gad was listed in the 1800, 1810, and 1820 censuses as a householder in WestfieldG.14,15,16

171. Gad Sacket, 1748–___?, of Westfield, Mass., son of (35) Daniel and Mary Weller Sacket, was married in 1773 to Lucy Williams. He enlisted May 4, 1775, in Capt. Warham Parks Co., of Col. Timothy Danielson's Regiment; served as a Corporal in War of Revolution a term of three months and four days. The Mass. State Records show that he was also mustered at a subsequent date.
