Elijah Sackett, son of Gad Sacket and Lucy Williams, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 3 April 1784.1,2,3 He died aged 67 in Hampden CountyG on 6 May 1851 and was buried at the Ashley Cemetery, West Springfield, Hampden CountyG.4 He married in WestfieldG on 8 March 1808, Cynthia Sackett, his first cousin, daughter of Israel Sacket and Eunice Sacket.5,6
Elijah was listed in the 1810 census as a householder in WestfieldG.7 He was listed in the census in 1820, 1830, and 1840 as a householder in West SpringfieldG.8,9,10
In 1850 Elijah was living in West SpringfieldG and was recorded in the census as Elijah Sackett, a farmer, aged 63 and born in Massachusetts. His wife Cynthia, 65, was lving with him.11
