Walter Sackett, son of Gad Sacket and Lucy Williams, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 13 November 1775.1,2 He died in Hinsdale, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 14 April 1813.3 He married in Dalton, Berkshire CountyG, on 21 November 1799, Ruhamah Lyman.4,5 After Walter's death, Ruhamah married second in in about 1817, Walter's second cousin Stephen Sacket Jr. Ruhamah was born in about 1778.6 She died aged 58 in Boston, MassachusettsG, on 13 May 1837 listed as "city poor" and was buried at the South Ground, BostonG.7
     Walter was listed in the 1800 census as a householder in Partridgefield, Berkshire CountyG.8 In 1810 he was a householder in Hinsdale, Berkshire CountyG.9
