Alzina Thankful Sackett, daughter of Oliver Sackett and Esther Wing, was born in Greene, Chenango County, New York State^G, on 21 February 1836.¹ She died aged 70 in Antrim County, Michigan^G, on 17 November 1906.¹ She married in Chenango County^G on 1 January 1856, Alva D Greene.¹
     In 1850 Alzina was living in Greene, Chenango County, New York State^G, in the household of her parents Oliver and Esther, and was recorded in the census as S E Sackett, aged 14 and born in New York.^2,3

Andrew Anderson Sackett, son of Oliver Benjamin Sackett and Matilda Rosemond Anderson, was born in Milton, Antrim County, Michigan^G, in March 1878.^1,2 He died aged 66 in Kearney, Antrim County^G, on 8 June 1945 and was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Bellaire, Antrim County^G.^5,6 He married first in Bellaire^G on 22 December 1900, Hattie (Lanniman) Jefferson, daughter of Charles Lanniman.³ He married second in Bellaire^G on 7 June 1907, Katherine "Kittie" (Reese) Wolcott, daughter of David Reese.⁴ Katherine was born in New York State^G about 1869.²
     In 1880 Andrew was living in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan^G, in the household of his parents Oliver and Matilda, and was recorded in the census as Andrew Sackett, aged one and born in Michigan.⁷
     In 1900 he was living in Forest Home, Antrim County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as Andrew Sacket, aged 22. He was a boarder in the household of Alvin Savage.⁸
     Andrew completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was a farmer, aged 39. He was living in Bellaire, Antrim County, Michigan^G, with his wife Kittie.⁹

Charles W Sackett, son of Oliver Sackett and Esther Wing, was born in Greene, Chenango County, New York State^G, on 15 February 1843.¹ He died aged 86 in Oxford, Chenango County, New York State^G, on 4 May 1929² and was buried at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene^G.¹ He married about 1866, Emma J Bailey.^3,4 Emma was born in New York State^G on 23 February 1847.^5,6 She died aged 46 on 19 September 1893 and was buried at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery^G.¹
     In 1850 Charles was living in Greene, Chenango County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents Oliver and Esther, and was recorded in the census as Charles Sackett, aged seven and born in New York.⁷
     In 1860 he was living in Greene^G in the household of his parents Oliver and Esther, and was recorded as George Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 17. (It is assumed from his age and from other records that this was Charles.)⁸
     Charles served the Union as a Private during the American Civil War. He enlisted in the 179th New York Regiment in Ulysses, Tompkins County, New York State^G, on 27 August 1864 and was discharged in Alexandria, Virginia, on 8 June 1865.^9,10,11,12
     In 1870 he was living in Helena, Antrim County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as Chs W Sackett, a farmer, aged 27. Living with him were his wife Emma J, 23, and their daughter A J, aged three.¹³
     In 1880 he was living in Greene, New York State^G, and was recorded as Chas Sackett, a laborer, head of household, married, aged 36. Living with him were his wife Emma, 33, and their children, Charles, 8, Ernest, 5, and Willie, aged ten months.¹⁴
     In 1910 he was living in Lisle, Broome County, New York State^G, and was recorded as Charles W Sackett, a widower, aged 67. He was a boarder in the household of William Pierce, a farmer.¹⁵
     In 1925 he was living in Oxford, Chenango County^G, and was recorded as Charles Sackett, aged 75 [actually 82]. He was living with his son Victor and daughter Addie.¹⁶

Charles Oliver Sackett, son of Andrew Anderson Sackett and Hattie (Lanniman) Jefferson, was born in Forest Home, Antrim County, Michigan^G, on 3 June 1903.¹

Elizabeth Esther Sackett, daughter of Oliver Benjamin Sackett and Matilda Rosemond Anderson, was born in Carson, Leelanau County, Michigan^G, on 5 July 1875.^1,2 She died aged 88 in Kalkaska, Kalkaska County, Michigan^G, on 1 March 1964 and was buried at Clearwater Township Cemetery, Rapid City, Kalkaska County, Michigan^G.^5,4 She married first in Rapid City, Kalkaska County^G, on 13 October 1900, Fred Manning.³ They divorced sometime before 1904.⁶ She married second in 1904, Louis LaCure.⁴ He died in 1930.⁴ She married third in 1932, William Hole.⁴ He died in 1934.⁴
     In 1880 Elizabeth was living in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Michigan^G, in the household of her parents Oliver and Matilda, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, aged five and born in Michigan.⁷
     In 1900 she was living in Clearwater, Kalkaska County, Michigan^G, in the household of her maternal grandfather Andrew Anderson, and was recorded as Elizabeth E Sacket, aged 24.⁸
     In 1910 she was living in Clearwater, Kalkaska County, Michigan^G, in the household of her husband Lewis LaCure, 56, a general store merchant, and was recorded as Elizabeth E LaCure, aged 34. Living with them were Elizabeth's son Percy Manning, 9, from her previous marriage, and Lewis and Elizabeth's children, Leone, 4, and Nina, aged two.⁹
