James Noble Sackett, farmer, son of William Sacket Jr and Sabrina Carter, was born in New York StateG on 4 July 1822.2 He died aged 50 in Livingston County, IllinoisG, on 1 February 1873 and was buried at Forrest Township Cemetery, Livingston CountyG.3 He married in Jefferson County, New York StateG, on 1 March 1843, Ursula Makepeace, daughter of Solomon Makepeace and Jane Kronkite. Ursula was born in New York StateG on 21 May 1827.4 She died aged 85 in Livingston County, IllinoisG, on 18 February 1913 and was buried at Forrest Township CemeteryG.3
     In 1850 James was living in Alexandria, Jefferson County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as James Sackett, a farmer, aged 27 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Ursula, 22, and their children, Delia, 6, John, 5, and Sabrina, aged one. The family were living next door to James's parents, William and Sabrina.5
     In 1860 he was living in Pleasant Ridge, Livingston County, IllinoisG, and was recorded as James Sacket, a farmer, aged 37. Living with him were his wife Ursula, 33, and their children, Delia, 16, John, 14, Sabrina, 11, Emma, 9, Jay, 7, Mary, 4, and Ellen, aged two.6
     In 1870 he was living in Pleasant Ridge, Livingston County, IllinoisG, and was recorded as James Sacket, a farmer, aged 47. Living with him were his wife Ursula, 43, and their children, John, 24, Mary, 16, Jay, 17, Ellen, 13, Lydia, 10, Hattie, 7, and William, aged three.7
