Lydia Maria Sackett, daughter of James Noble Sackett and Ursula Makepeace, was born in Forest, Livingston County, IllinoisG, on 29 April 1861.1 She died aged 22 in Wellington, Sumner County, KansasG, on 12 March 1884.2 She married in Livingston County, IllinoisG, on 4 April 1880, Duncan B. Keir.1 Duncan was born in Lachute, Quebec, CanadaG, on 27 October 18482 and died aged 84 in Sac City, IowaG, on 27 February 1933.2
     In 1870 Lydia was living in Pleasant Ridge, Livingston County, IllinoisG, in the household of her parents James and Ursula, and was recorded in the census as Lida Sacket, aged ten and born in Illinois.3
