Burt Alonzo Sackett, son of Edmund Sackett and Perscilla Watson, was born on 25 August 1866.2 He died on 16 September 1944. He was buried at Mt Rest Cemetery, Bergen, Genesee County, New York StateG. He married first on 28 November 1890, Jennie Collins.3 He married second on 17 August 1904, Mary E Clark Vincent, (1882-1941.)4
In 1910 Burt was living at Rochester Street, Bergen, Genesee County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as Burt A Sackett, inspector of crops in a canning factory, head of household, married, aged 41 and born in New York. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his second wife Mary, 26, his children, Irving D, 15, and Dewey, 13, by his first marriage, his and Mary's son Burton, aged three months, and Mary's son Charles Vincent, aged nine.5
In 1920 he was living at Rochester Street, BergenG, and was recorded as Burt Sackett, a laborer in a canning factory, head of household, aged 52 and born in New York. He owned his home free of mortgage. Living with him were his wife Mary, 37, and their children, Burton, 9, Clark, 7, Homer, 5, Ira, 4, and Hilda, aged three.6
In 1930 he was living at Rochester Street, BergenG, and was recorded as Bert A Sackett, a canning factory worker, head of household, aged 63. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Mary, 47, and their children, Burton, 20, Clark, 17, Homer, 16, Ira, 14, Hilda, 13, Edmund, 9, Jennie, 7, Dewey, 6, and Ralph, aged four.7
