Rebecca Sackett, daughter of William Sackett and Rachel Lisle, was born in Fairfield, Butler County, Ohio^G, on 18 April 1830.^1,2 She died aged 35 in Ottawa, Putnam County, Ohio^G, on 18 October 1865² and was buried at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa, Putnam County, Ohio^G.² She married Henry Agnew.¹
     In 1850 Rebecca was living in Ottawa, Putnam County, Ohio^G, in the household of her father William, and was recorded in the census as Rebecca Sackett, aged 20 and born in Ohio.³

James H Sackett, son of William Sackett and Rachel Lisle, was born in Putnam County, Ohio^G, on 30 July 1837.^1,2 He died aged 69 in West Leipsic, Putnam County^G, on 4 August 1906 and was buried at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic^G.² He married first in Putnam County^G on 27 September 1860, Catherine Guisenger.^1,3 He married second in Putnam County^G on 28 June 1866, Caroline Leffler.^1,4 Caroline was born in Ohio^G on 29 August 1845.^5,6 She died aged 74 on 8 May 1920 and was buried at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic^G.^5,2
     In 1850 James was living in Ottawa, Putnam County, Ohio^G, in the household of his father William, and was recorded in the census as James Sackett, aged twelve and born in Ohio.⁷
     In 1870 he was living in Liberty, Putnam County^G, and was recorded as James H Sackett, a retired grocer, aged 32. Living with him were his wife Caroline, 23, James's son William, 4, by his first marriage, and James and Caroline's children, James, 3, and Lewis, aged six months.⁸
     In 1880 he was living in West Leipsic, Putnam County^G, and was recorded as James H Sacket, a laborer, aged 42. Living with him were his wife Caroline, 32, his son William, 14, and James and Caroline's children, Lewis, 10, Lilly, 8, and Emma, aged six.⁹
