Archibald Wilson Sackett, son of Letus Sacket and Leah Orr, was born in KentuckyG on 21 September 1822.1,2 He died aged 66 on 6 February 1889.1 He married first on 23 February 1851, Mahala T Burcham, daughter of James Burcham.1,2 He married second in Bourbon County, KansasG, on 19 September 1878, Sarah Jane (Williams) Myers, daughter of John R Williams and Sarah ___.1,2
     In 1860 Archibald was living in Wright, Wayne County, IowaG, and was recorded in the census as Wilson Sacket, a farmer, aged 40. Living with him were his wife Mahala, 30, and their children, James, 6, Senora, 4, and William, aged two.3
