Emma E Sacket, daughter of Daniel Sacket and Harriet A Porter, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1839.1,2
     In 1850 Emma was living at Marine Settlement, Madison County, IllinoisG, in the household of her parents Daniel and Harriet, and was recorded in the census as Emma E Sacket, aged 11 and born in Connecticut.3
     In 1860 she was living in West St Paul, Dakota CountyG, in the household of Linus and Sarah Mathew, and was recorded as Emma Sackett, aged 22 and born in Connecticut. Her brother Charles, 17, and sister Cornelia, 28, were also in the household.4
