Lydia Sacket, daughter of Ezra Sacket and Lydia Lovering, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 14 October 1781.1,2,3 She died aged 96 in WestfieldG on 5 December 18774 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.5,6 She married in WestfieldG on 20 September 1802, Joel Atwater, son of Benjamin Atwater and Phebe Moss.3,7,8,9 Joel was born in Wallingford, New Haven County, ConnecticutG, on 22 April 1769.5,9 He died aged 68 in Russell, Hampden CountyG, on 7 September 18379 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.5
     Lydia was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made in WestfieldG on 1 March 1834. She was to receive a sum of $1.10
     In 1860 Lydia was living in WestfieldG in the household of William Fowler, a farmer, and was recorded in the census as Lidia Atwater, aged 80 and born in Massachusetts.11
     In 1870 she was living in WestfieldG in the household of William Fowler, a farmer, and was recorded as Lydia Atwater, aged 89.12
