Howard Grove Sackett, son of Edward Everett Sackett and Edythe Ella Grove, was born in Buffalo, Erie County, New York State^G, on 2 October 1904.¹ He died aged 61 in Utica, Oneida County, New York State^G, on 25 January 1966^2,3 and was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, Fulton County, New York State^G.⁴ He married Margaret Wood, daughter of Jeremiah Wood and Ellen Dockstader. Margaret was born in Gloversville, Fulton County, New York State^G, on 10 November 1908.⁵ She died aged 92 in Albany, Albany County, New York State^G, on 30 June 2001 and was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville^G.⁴
     In 1910 Howard was living in Newport, Washington County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Edward and Ella, and was recorded in the census as Howard Sackett, aged five and born in New York.⁶
     In 1920 he was living at Snelling Avenue, St Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota^G, in the household of his parents Edward and Ella, and was recorded as Howard G Sackett, aged 15.⁷
     In 1940 he was living at 15 Beechwood Avenue, Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, New York State^G, and was recorded as Howard G Sackett, educational administrator, city schools, aged 34. Living with him were his wife Margaret, 30, and their children, Ellen, 4, Martha, 3, and John, aged one.⁸

Richard B Sackett, son of ___ Sackett and C Mary ___, was born in New York State^G about 1839.¹ He died aged about 74 on 3 December 1914 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe County, New York State^G.³ He married first Marion Wiseman, daughter of Archibald Wiseman and Agnes Scott. Marion was born in Scotland^G about 1839.¹ She died aged about 43 in Rochester^G on 29 January 1883 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Rochester^G.³ He married second in Brighton, Monroe County^G, on 16 July 1885, Flora A Hedger, daughter of Loren A Hedger and Adeline Kurtz.² Flora was born in New York State^G in June 1860.^4,1 She died aged about 78 in 1938 and was buried at Marilla Cemetery, Marilla, Erie County, New York State^G.³
