James Henry Sackett, son of Salmon/Solomon Dunham Sackett and Marion E Wright, was born in Ohio^G on 10 June 1832.^1,2 He died aged 81 in Napa County, California^G, on 20 December 1913³ and was buried at the Veterans Memorial Grove Cemetery, Yountville, Napa County, California^G.²
     In 1850 James was living in Ruggles, Ashland County, Ohio^G, in the household of his parents Solomon and Marion, and was recorded in the census as James H Sackett, aged 18 and born in Ohio.⁴
     In 1860 he was living in Long Valley, Carson County, Utah Territory^G, in the household of C C Gates, a farmer, and was recorded as Jas H Sackett, a cook, aged 28.⁵
     James served as a saddler in the US Army in the 1st Nevada Cavalry during the American Civil War, and was involved in the Indian Wars, operating out of Fort Churchill in Nevada. He enlisted in Virginia City, Nevada, on 8 January 1864 and was discharged at Fort Churchill on 18 November 1865.^6,7,8

Lodemia Harriett Sackett, daughter of Salmon/Solomon Dunham Sackett and Marion E Wright, was born in Ohio^G on 21 July 1834.^1,2 She died aged 22 in Avon, Fulton County, Illinois^G, on 11 April 1857 and was buried at Virgil Cemetery, Avon^G.² She married in Fulton County^G on 24 March 1853, William Webster Stewart.³ William was born in West Alexandria, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania^G, on 26 March 1833.⁴ After Lodemia's death, William married her sister Helen. He died aged 70 in Baldwin City, Douglas County, Kansas^G, on 2 April 1903.⁴

Living with him were his wife Etta, 51, and their children, May, 24, Benjamin, 22, and Nettie, aged twelve.¹⁷

     Charles's widow Marietta was listed iin the Council Bluffs City Directory from 1913 to 1915.¹⁹ In 1917 and 1918 she was living in Salt Lake City, Utah^G, with her son Benjamin.²⁰

Sherman Leander Sackett, son of Salmon/Solomon Dunham Sackett and Marion E Wright, was born in Ashland County, Ohio^G, on 17 May 1844.^1,2 He died aged 20 in Charleston, Charleston County, South Carolina^G, on 8 December 1864 and was buried at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, Beaufort County, South Carolina^G.²
     In 1850 Sherman was living in Ruggles, Ashland County, Ohio^G, in the household of his parents Solomon and Marion, and was recorded in the census as Sherman L Sackett, aged five and born in Ohio.³
     In 1860 he was living in Union, Fulton County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents Solomon and Marion, and was recorded as Sherman Sackett, aged 15.⁴
     Sherman served in the 14th Illinois Cavalry during the American Civil War. He enlisted in Prairie City, McDonough County, Illinois^G, on 1 October 1862. He died on 8 December 1864 in Charlston Harbor on the steamer Northern Light.⁵

Jennie J Sackett was born about 1863, either in New York (1870 census) or Illinois (1880 census.)¹ Her parents have not been identified.

Jeannette "Nettie" Sackett, daughter of Charles E Sackett and Marietta Jane Johnson, was born in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa^G, about 1888.^1,2 She married first in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska^G, on 5 June 1906, George R Madison, son of David Madison and Emily Orvin.³ George was born in Missouri Valley, Harrison County, Iowa^G, about 1885.² She married second in Council Bluffs^G on 31 May 1911, Carl J Withrow, son of Charles Withrow and Maggie Fitzgerald.⁴ Carl was born in Iowa^G about 1887.²
     In 1900 Jeannette was living in Kane, Pottawattamie County, Iowa^G, in the household of her parents Charles and Marietta, and was recorded in the census as Nettie E Sackett, aged twelve and born in Iowa.⁵

Benjamin Salmon Sackett, son of Charles E Sackett and Marietta Jane Johnson, was born in Crawford County, Kansas^G, on 5 February 1878.^1,2,3 He died aged 83 on 2 January 1962 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska^G.⁵ He married in Salt Lake County, Utah^G, on 20 December 1913, Dagmar Lundahl, daughter of Ernest William Lundahl Sr and Julia Oline Jensen.⁴ Dagmar was born in Logan, Cache County, Utah^G, on 15 December 1888.⁵ She died aged 91 in Omaha^G on 15 August 1980 and was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Omaha^G.⁵

     Benjamin completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 September 1918. He was aged 40 and was employed as a sales agent for the Bemis-Omaha Bag Company. He was living at 743 E 2nd Street, Salt Lake City^G, with his wife Dagmar.¹¹
     In 1920 he was living in Denver, Denver County, Colorado^G, and was recorded as Benjamin S Sackett, a salesman for a bag company, aged 40. Living with him were his wife Dagmar, 30, and their son William, aged four.¹²
