Clara Cookman, greengrocer, of Pimlico, London, daughter of Samuel Cookman and Eliza ___, was born in St George Hanover Square, MiddlesexG, in 1842.1 She died there aged 68 in 19102 and was buried at Norwood Cemetery (South Metropolitan Cemetery), Lambeth, LondonG, on 10 November 1910.5 She married at St Saviour's Church, Chelsea, LondonG, on 9 February 1864, Nathaniel Francis Trevelyan Haysom, son of Joseph Haysom and Louisa Wood.3,4
In 1851 she was living at 26 Queen Street, St George Hanover Square, MiddlesexG, in the household of her parents Samuel and Eliza, and was recorded as Clara Cookman, a scholar, aged seven and born in Pimlico, Middlesex.6
In 1891 she was living at 10 Pimlico Road, St George Hanover Square, LondonG, in the household of her husband Nathaniel, a mason, and was recorded as Clara Hayson, a greengrocer, aged 49 and born in London.7
In 1901 she was living at 10 Pimlico Road, St George Hanover SquareG, and was recorded as Clara Haysom, a greengrocer (self-employed), head of household, a widow, aged 58 and born in St George Hanover Square, London. Samuel Cookman, carpenter, of London, son of Giles Cookman and Hannah Samells, was born in Salisbury, WiltshireG, in 18041 and baptized at St Martin's Church, Salisbury, WiltshireG, on 30 December 1804.2 He died aged 81 at 10 Pimlico Road, St George Hanover SquareG, on 11 October 1885.3,4 He married about 1830, probably in Wilton, WiltshireG, Eliza ___.5
