Anita Julia Adcock, daughter of William Bayley Adcock and Susan Julia Robin, was born at Kings Road, St Peter Port, GuernseyG, on 5 November 1878.1 She died in childbirth aged 43 at Ville au Roi, St Peter PortG, on 9 December 1921.2,3 She married Hubert George Wheadon, son of George Samuel Wheadon and Bertha Harriet Hansford.
In 1881 Anita was living at 3 Kings Road, St Peter PortG, in the household of her parents William and Susan, and was recorded in the census as Anita Adcock, aged two and born in St Peter Port.4
In 1891 she was living at 25 Saumarez Street, St Peter PortG, and was recorded as Anita Adcock, a scholar, aged 12 and born in Guernsey. She was living with her widowed father William in the household of her grandmother Harriet Adcock.5
In 1901 she was living at Essex House, Couture, St Peter PortG, in the household of her husband Hubert, 23, a grocer, china and salt merchant, and was recorded as Anita J Wheadon, aged 22 and born in St Peter Port. Living with them was their son Lloyd, aged eleven months.6
In 1911 she was living at Essex Cottage, Couture, St Peter PortG, in the household of her husband Hubert, 34, a sub-manager in a wine and tobacco merchants, and was recorded as Anita Julia Wheadon, aged 32 and born in St Peter Port. Living with them were their children, Lloyd, 10, Bertha, 9, James, 7, Gwendoline, 6, John, 3, and Hubert, aged two. Also in the household was a female domestic servant.7
