Alicia M Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G about 1842.¹
     In 1850 Alicia was living at Four S Four W Township, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Alicia M Sackett, aged eight and born in Illinois.²
     Further records have not been found. She may have been the same as Mahala, aged 18 in 1860, who was not listed in the family in 1850.

Elizabeth Jane Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G on 13 April 1846.^1,2 She died aged 87 in Detroit, Pike County, Illinois^G, on 17 June 1933 and was buried at Blue River Cemetery, Detroit^G.^4,5 She married in Pike County^G on 24 October 1865, James P Emery.³
     In 1850 Elizabeth was living at Four S Four W Township, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Ellen, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth J Sackett, aged four and born in Illinois.⁶
     In 1860 she was living in Pittsfield, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Nelly, and was recorded as Jane Sackett, aged 14 and born in Ohio.⁷
     In 1910 she was living in Newburg, Pike County^G, in the household of her husband James, 65, a farm laborer, and was recorded as Elizabeth J Emry, aged 63. Her brother John Sackett, 50, was living with them.⁸

John Henry Sackett, son of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G in May 1859.¹ He died aged 72 in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois^G, on 20 April 1932 and was buried at Diamond Grove Cemetery, Jacksonville^G.^6,7 He married first in Pike County, Illinois^G, on 16 November 1883, Emma Potter, daughter of Ephraim Potter and ___ Taylor.^2,3,4 Emma was born about 1866.⁸ He married second in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri^G, on 10 January 1887, Armilda "Milda" Welty, daughter of Jake Welty and Mary Cooley.⁵ Armilda was born in Pike County^G on 25 September 1861.⁹ They divorced before 1900.¹ She died aged 83 in Pittsfield^G on 11 May 1945 and was buried at Pittsfield West Cemetery, Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois^G.^7,10
     A Henry Sackett, aged four and born in Illinois, listed in the 1860 census living in Pittsfield, Pike County^G, with his parents Perry and Nelly, but not found in later records, may have been the same as this John Sackett.¹¹
     In 1870 he was living in Hardin, Pike County^G, in the household of his parents Perry and Eleanor, and was recorded as John Sacket, aged eleven and born in Illinois.¹²
     In 1880 he was living in Detroit, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of Charles Sneeden, a farmer, and was recorded as John Sacket, a common laborer, aged 21.¹³
     In 1900 he was living in Crane Creek, Mason County, Illinois^G, in the household of Abraham Duckett, and was recorded as John Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 41. He had been married for 13 years.¹⁴ John and his wife Milda would appear to have separated and presumably divorced by this date. Milda, 38, described as a widow, married for 13 years, was living in Newburg, Pike County^G, in 1900. Her daughter Alice, aged twelve, was living with her.¹⁵
     In 1910 he was living in Newburg^G in the household of his sister Elizabeth and brother-in-law James Emery, and was recorded as John Sackett, of no occupation, aged 50.¹⁶ In 1910 Milda was also living in Newburg^G and was listed as Milda Sackett, a laundress, a widow aged 48. She owned her home free of mortgage.¹⁷
     In 1920 Milda, aged 58 and divorced, was living in Newburg^G in the household of her daughter Alice and son-in-law Leland Lowe.¹⁸
     In 1930 John was living in the County Home, Pittsfield^G, and was recorded in the census as John H Sackett, an inmate, a widower, aged 70.¹⁹ In 1930 Armilda, 68, was living in Pittsfield, Pike County^G, with her daughter Alice and son-in-law Leland Lowe.²⁰
     In 1940 John's widow Armilda was living in Pittsfield^G in the household of her daughter Alice and son-in-law Lee Lowe, and was recorded in the census as Armelda Sacket, aged 78.²¹

Ruie and Nona, born before John and Milda were married, were probably children of Milda and "adopted" by John when they married in 1887.

Hester Ann "Anna" Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Pleasant Hill, Pike County, Illinois^G, on 9 January 1854.¹ She died aged 84 in Bluffs, Scott County, Illinois^G, on 2 January 1939 and was buried at Green Cemetery, Bluffs^G.^4,5,6 She married first in Pike County^G on 5 June 1873, Eli Harter.² She married second in Pike County^G on 14 June 1880, Justus J Kirk.² She married third in Newburg, Pike County^G, on 13 March 1888, William Carrel Wisdom.² She married fourth ___ Plummer. She married fifth in Scott County, Illinois^G, on 10 June 1923, Sanders Alexander Coates.³
     In 1870 Hester was living in Hardin, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Eleanor, and was recorded in the census as Anne Sacket, aged 15.⁷

Wesley Sackett, son of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G about 1853.¹
     A John W Sackett, aged six and born in Illinois, listed in the 1860 census living in Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois^G, with his parents Perry and Nelly, is assumed to have been the same as Wesly Sackett listed in 1870.²
     In 1870 he was living in Hardin, Pike County^G, in the household of his parents Perry and Eleanor, and was recorded as Wesly Sacket, a farm laborer, aged 17.³

Julia Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G about 1850.¹
     In 1860 Julia was living in Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Nelly, and was recorded in the census as Julia Sackett, aged ten and born in Illinois.²

Lucy/Mary Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G about 1852.¹
     In 1860 Lucy was living in Pittsfield, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Nelly, and was recorded in the census as Lucy Sackett, aged eight and born in Illinois.²
     In 1870 she was living in Hardin, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Eleanor, and was recorded as Mary Sacket, aged 18 (it is assumed that Lucy, aged 8 in 1860, and Mary, aged 18 in 1870, were the same.)³

Matilda E Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G in 1848.^1,2 She died aged about 39 in 1887 and was buried at Blue River Cemetery, Detroit, Pike County, Illinois^G.⁵ She married first in Pike County^G in 1872, Jacob Smith.³ She married second in Pike County^G in 1876, William Dolbow.⁴

     In 1860 she was living in Pittsfield, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Nelly, and was recorded as Tilda Sackett, aged twelve.⁷
     In 1870 she was living in Hardin, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Eleanor, and was recorded as Matilda Sacket, aged 24.⁸

Rachel Mahala Sackett, daughter of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Ohio^G about 1841.¹ She died aged about 40 in 1881.² She married in Pike County, Illinois^G, in 1862, Jacob Joshua Stauffer.³
     In 1860 Rachel was living in Pittsfield, Pike County^G, in the household of her parents Perry and Nelly, and was recorded in the census as Mahala Sackett, a servant, aged 18 and born in Ohio.⁴
     In 1870 she was living in Pittsfield^G in the household of her husband Jacob, 35, a farmer, and was recorded as Mahala Stophel, aged 28 and born in Illinois. Living with them were their children, William, 4, James, 2, and Jacob, aged three months.⁵
     In 1880 she was living in Newburg, Pike County^G, in the household of her husband Jacob, 45, a farmer, and was recorded as Rachael M Stauffer, aged 39. Living with them were their children, William, 14, James, 12, Jacob, 10, Charles, 8, Franklin, 6, and Herbert, aged one.⁶

William B Sackett, son of Perry Sackett and Ellen "Nellie" Cole, was born in Illinois^G about 1841.¹

     William served the Union during the American Civil War. He enlisted in Company C, 50th Illinois Infantry, at Quincy, Adams County, Illinois^G, on 24 September 1861.⁴

Charles John Stauffer, son of Jacob Joshua Stauffer and Rachel Mahala Sackett, was born in Illinois^G about 1872.¹
     In 1880 Charles was living in Newburg, Pike County, Illinois^G, in the household of his parents Jacob and Rachael, and was recorded in the census as Charles J Stauffer, aged eight and born in Illinois.²
