Elsie De Etta Sackett, daughter of Benjamin P Sackett and Jane E Towle, was born in New York StateG in 1850.1,2 She died aged about 45 in Goffstown, Hillsborough County, New HampshireG, on 23 March 1896 and was buried at Shirley Hill Cemetery, GoffstownG.3 She married Daniel Shirley. Daniel was born in 1837.2 He died aged about 59 in 1897 and was buried at Shirley Hill CemeteryG.3
     In 1860 Elsie was living in Potsdam, St Lawrence County, New York StateG, in the household of her parents Benjamin and Jane, and was recorded in the census as Elisa D Sackett, aged twelve [actually ten] and born in New York.4
