Harriet M Sacket

Harriet M Sacket, daughter of Jesse Sackett and Elizabeth ___, was born in Greene County, New York State^G, in 1812.¹ She died aged about 48 in Moravia, Cayuga County, New York State^G, in 1860.² She married in about 1840, Beriah D King.³ Beriah was born in Massachusetts^G in about 1800.¹
     In 1850 Harriet was living in Moravia^G in the household of her husband Beriah D King, 50, a miller, and was recorded in the census as Harriet King, aged 39 and born in New York. Their children, Matilda, 9, Elizabeth, 7, Jerusha, 4, and an unnamed baby girl, were living with them. Also in the household were Harriet's father Jesse Sacket, 82, and brother Austin Sacket, 27.⁴
     In 1855 she was living in Moravia^G in the household of her husband Beriah, 55, a miller, and was recorded as Harriet King, aged 44 and born in Greene County. Living with them were their children, Matilda, 13, Elizabeth, 11, Jerusha, 8, and Emma, 6. Harriet's father Jesse, 87, and brother Abner, 32, were also in the household.⁵
