Winfield Sackett, son of George Castor Sackett Sr and Edna I Mutch, was born in PennsylvaniaG on 26 May 1918.1,2 He died aged 66 in PennsylvaniaG in October 1984.3 He married at Wilmington, New Castle County, DelawareG, on 11 December 1940, Elsie Emma Haeberle, daughter of Edward Haeberle and Anna R Schelter.4 Elsie was born in Riverside, Burlington County, New JerseyG, on 4 October 1920.5,2 She died aged 81 in PennsylvaniaG on 18 April 2002.6,7
     In 1920 Winfield was living at Robbins Avenue, PhiladelphiaG, and was recorded in the census as Winfield S Sackett, aged one and born in Pennsylvania. He was living with his parents George and Edna in the household of George's widowed mother Sarah.8
     In 1930 he was living at 5th Street, PhiladelphiaG, in the household of his parents George and Edna, and was recorded as Winfield Sackett, aged twelve.9
     Winfield completed a World War II draft registration card in PhiladelphiaG in 1940. He was aged 22. His mother Edna was next of kin.10
