Salmon Sackett, later known as Benjamin, of Pottawattamie County, Iowa, and Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Charles E Sackett and Marietta Jane Johnson, was born in KansasG in about 1878.1
In 1880 Salmon was living in Hardin, Pottawattamie County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Charles and Marietta, and was recorded in the census as Salmon Sackett, aged two and born in Kansas.2
In 1900 he was living in Kane, Pottawattamie County, IowaG, in the household of his parents Charles and Marietta, and was recorded as Benj S Sackett, a clerk, aged 22, single.3
Benjamin was listed in the Salt Lake City Directory in 1917 and 1918. He was the manager of the Bemis Omaha Bag Company. His mother Marietta was living with him.4
