Ella/Estella Walls, daughter of Taylor Walls and Nancy Ann Sacket, was born in Brooklyn, Poweshiek County, IowaG, on 4 March 1874.1,2 She died aged 80 in Warrensburg, Johnson County, MissouriG, on 19 November 19542 and was buried at Fairview Cemetery, Holden, Johnson County, MissouriG.2 She married in Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IowaG, on 29 May 1900, Charles Theodore Prather, son of William Prather and Lovina Dougman.3 Charles was born in Plymouth, Marshall County, IndianaG, in April 1860.4,1
In 1880 Ella/Estella was living in Malcom, Poweshiek County, IowaG, in the household of her parents Taylor and Nancy, and was recorded in the census as Ella E Walls, aged six and born in Iowa.5
In 1900 she was living at Elm Street, Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IowaG, and was recorded as Estella Prather, aged 26 and born in Iowa. She was living with her husband Charles, 40, a railroad laborer, in the household of her widowed mother Nancy.6
