Nancy Ann Sacket, daughter of Israel Sacket and Hannah Aldridge, was born in Dayton, Berrien County, MichiganG, on 6 January 1850.1,2,3 She died aged 83 in Independence, Jackson County, MissouriG, on 19 January 19333 and was buried at Mound Grove Cemetery, IndependenceG.4 She married Taylor Walls, son of Eli Walls and Rachel ___. Taylor was born in PennsylvaniaG in 18491 and died aged about 46 in Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IowaG, on 30 August 1895.3
In 1850 Nancy was living at 10th Division, Berrien County, MichiganG, in the household of her parents Israel and Hannah, and was recorded in the census as Nancy Sacket, aged one and born in Michigan.5
In 1880 she was living in Malcom, Poweshiek County, IowaG, in the household of her husband Taylor, 31, a farmer, and was recorded as Nancy A Wall, keeping house, aged 30 and born in Michigan. Living with them were their children, Ella, 6, Silas, 3, and Ida Belle, aged one.6
In 1900 she was living at Elm Street, Grinnell, Poweshiek County, IowaG, and was recorded as Nancy A Walls, a washerwoman, head of household, a widow aged 50. She owned her home free of mortgage. Living with her were her children, Addie B, 21, Albertise, 19, and Estella, 26, and Estella's husband Charles Prather, 40.7
In 1910 she was living at Sixth Street, Holden, Johnson County, MissouriG, and was recorded as Nancy A Walls, a self-employed weaver, head of household, aged 60.8
In 1930 she was living at South Bowen Avenue, IndependenceG, and was recorded as Nancy A Walls, head of household, aged 80.9
