Homer Samuel Sackett, timber engineer, son of Charles H Sackett and Harriet M Robinson, was born in Livingston County, New York StateG, on 1 May 1884.2,3 He died aged 71 in Multnomah County, OregonG, on 4 March 1956.4 He married first in about 1913, Louise Chrisly.5 Louise was born in NorwayG in 18986 and died aged about 24 in Chicago, IllinoisG, on 20 June 1922.7,8 He married second Eva ___.
     Homer completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 34 and was living at 722 Bittersweet Pl, Chicago, Cook County, IllinoisG, with his wife Louise. He was a timber engineer with the Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul Railroad Company.9
