Charles H Sackett, son of Homer Sackett and Margaret McKenzie, was born in New York StateG in April 1852.1,2 He died aged 76 in May 1928.2 He married in 1881, Harriet M Robinson.2
     In 1870 Charles was living in Avon, Livingston CountyG, in the household of his parents Homer and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as Charles H Sackett, a farm laborer, aged 18 and born in New York.3
     In 1880 he was living in AvonG in the household of his parents Homer and Margaret, and was recorded as Charles H Sackett, a railroad clerk, single, aged 28 and born in New York State.4
