Harry Martin Sackett, son of Filertus Sackett and Caroline Sophia O'Rear, was born in MissouriG on 28 January 1879.1,2,3 He died aged 69 in Kansas City, Jackson County, MissouriG, on 7 February 19484,5 and was buried at Mount Mariah Cemetery, Kansas CityG.6,7,3 He married in Jackson CountyG on 23 September 1906, Nancy B Dyer, daughter of Henry Bluford Dyer and Ella Thankful Carpenter.4,8 Nancy was born in Lone Jack, Jackson CountyG, on 8 January 1884.5,9,10 She died aged 64 in Kansas CityG on 24 December 1948 and was buried at Mount Mariah CemeteryG.5,6,11,12
In 1880 Harry was living in Butler, Bates County, MissouriG, in the household of his parents Filer and Caroline, and was recorded in the census as Harry Sacket, aged one and born in Missouri.13
In 1900 he was living at Main Street, ButlerG, in the household of his widowed mother Caroline, and was recorded as Harry M Sackett, a grocery clerk, aged 21.14
In 1910 he was living in Kansas CityG in the household of his widowed mother Caroline, and was recorded as Harry M Sackett, a musician in an orchestra, aged 30. His wife Nancy, 25, was living with him.15
Harry completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 39 and was living at 1310 Holmes, Kansas City, Jackson County, MissouriG, with his wife Nancy. He was self-employed as a chauffeur and musician.16
In 1920 he was living at Holmes Street, Kansas CityG, and was recorded as Harry M Sackett, a musician in an orchestra, head of household, aged 40. He rented his home. Living with him were his wife Nancy, 35, and their son Harry Jr, aged three. Also in the household were Nancy's unmarried brother Eugene Dyer, 40, Nancy's divorced sister Dilys Brehm, 37, and Dilys's son Henry, aged eleven.17
In 1930 he was living in Kansas CityG and was recorded as Harry M Sackett, a photographer, head of household, aged 51. He owned his home. Living with him were his wife Nancy, 46, and their son Harry D, aged 14.18
In 1940 he was living at Highland, Kansas CityG, and was recorded as Harry M Sackett, a photographer, head of household, aged 61, His wife Nancy, 56, was living with him.19
Harry completed a World War II draft registration card on 27 April 1942. He was aged 63 and was a self-employed musician. He was living at 2703 East 46th Street, Kansas CityG.20

Sackett—Mrs. Nancy Dyer Sackett, 64, of 2703 East Forty-sixth, died yesterday at St Luke's hospital. She was the widow of Harry M. Sackett, a photographer who specialized in pictures of babies. He formerly was a drummer which he continued as an avocation. He died last February. Surviving are a son, Harry D. Sackett of the home; a sister, Mrs. Owen H. Taber, 5000 Michigan, and a brother, G. Eugene Dyer, 3218 East Sixty-first.
