Zavan Sackett, son of Rolin Sackett and Pamelia (___) Chamberlin, was born in PennsylvaniaG in 1832 and baptized at the First Presbyterian Church, Meadville, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, in June 1832.1 He died aged about 45 in 1879.2 He married Alice ___.2
     In 1850 Zavan was living in Mead Township, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Rowland and Parmilia, and was recorded in the census as Zavan Sackett, aged 16 and born in New York.3
