Lewis Daniel Sackett, son of Robert Sackett and Laura Jane Smith, was born in MichiganG on 22 January 1858.1,2 He married on 13 December 1883, Emily Belle Shipp.1
     In 1860 Lewis was living in Eckford, Calhoun County, MichiganG, in the household of his parents Robert and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Lewis D Sacket, aged one and born in Michigan.3
     In 1870 he was living in EckfordG in the household of his parents Robert and Laura, and was recorded as Lewis Sackett, aged eleven.4
