Ida Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Zaven Mansfield Sackett and Mary Ann Palmer, was born in Wayne, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 31 March 1862.1,2,3,4,5 She died aged 42 in New Lyme, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 14 December 19041,5 and was buried at Brownville Cemetery, New LymeG.3 She married at Lenox, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 15 November 1885, George DeForest Gibbs, son of George A Gibbs and Maria Louisa Peck.1,5,6 George was born in OhioG on 20 August 1861.7,5 After Ida's death, he married second in Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 20 October 1906, Densie (Wilder) Phillips.8 He died aged 51 in New Lyme, Ashtabula County, OhioG, on 16 June 19135 and was buried at Brownville CemeteryG.3
In 1870 Ida was living in Wayne, OhioG, in the household of her parents Zaven and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Ida E Sacket, aged eight and born in Ohio.9
In 1880 she was living in Wayne, Ashtabula County, OhioG, in the household of her parents Zavan and Mary, and was recorded as Ida E Sackett, a teacher, aged 18 and born in Ohio.10
In 1900 she was living in New Lyme, OhioG, in the household of her husband DeForest, 38, a farmer, and was recorded as Ida E Gibbs, aged 38. Living with them were their children, Myrl, 12, Carl, 10, Ivan, 6, and Lucile, aged three. There was also a female boarder in the household.11
In 1870 Ida was living in Wayne, OhioG, in the household of her parents Zaven and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Ida E Sacket, aged eight and born in Ohio.9
In 1880 she was living in Wayne, Ashtabula County, OhioG, in the household of her parents Zavan and Mary, and was recorded as Ida E Sackett, a teacher, aged 18 and born in Ohio.10
In 1900 she was living in New Lyme, OhioG, in the household of her husband DeForest, 38, a farmer, and was recorded as Ida E Gibbs, aged 38. Living with them were their children, Myrl, 12, Carl, 10, Ivan, 6, and Lucile, aged three. There was also a female boarder in the household.11
