Frederick Brown Sackett, merchant, son of Russell R Sackett and Deborah Brown, was born in New York StateG on 31 May 1859.1 He died aged 80 on 19 February 19402 and was buried at the Masonic Cemetery, Albany, Linn County, OregonG.2 He married on 7 September 1887, Hattie Schenck, daughter of Marcus P Schenck and Louisa E Jones.1
     In 1860 Frederick was living in Plymouth, Chenango County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents Russell and Deborah, and was recorded in the census as Frederick Sackett, aged one and born in New York.3
     In 1870 he was living in PlymouthG in the household of his parents Russell and Deborah, and was recorded as Fred B Sackett, aged eleven.4
     In 1880 he was living in PlymouthG in the household of his parents Russell and Deborah, and was recorded as Fred B Sackett, student, single, aged 21 and born in New York.5
     In 1900 he was living in Jefferson Precinct, Marion County, OregonG, and was recorded as F B Sackett, general merchant, head of household, aged 41 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Hattie, 33, and their children, Leland, 6, and Vernor, aged one.6
