Frank Wilfred Sackett, carpenter, son of Gilbert "Bertie" Sackett and Mabel Agnes Dawson, was born in Ramsgate, KentG, on 11 September 1908.1,2,3 He died in 1993. He married in ThanetG in 1930, Ellen May Eastland.4,5 Ellen was born on 5 May 1911.3

At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frank and Ellen were living at 4 Laundry Cottages, Laundry Road, Eastry, KentG. Frank was a maintenance engineer at a laundry.8
