Eugene Richard Owens, son of Herbert John Owens II and Eva Marshall Sackett, was born in Hackensack, Bergen County, New JerseyG, on 5 May 1919.1 He died aged 69 in August 1988.1
In 1920 Eugene was living in New Lebanon, Columbia County, New York StateG, and was recorded in the census as Eugene Owens, aged nine months and born in New Jersey. He was living with his mother Eva in the household of Eva's sister Maud.2
In 1930 he was living in Tyringham, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, in the household of his mother Eva and stepfather Junius Stanton, and was recorded as Eugene R Owens, aged ten.3
