Mary Emma "Marie" Sutton, daughter of Wilsie John Sutton and Elizabeth Hannah Jones, was born in Nantyglo, MonmouthshireG, on 28 May 1913. She died aged 92 in Guernsey on 17 March 2006. She married first on 21 December 1939, Douglas Sackett, son of Alfred James Sackett and Lydia Hatfield. She married second on 21 September 1977, Jack Evans.
In 1921 she was living at 39 Garn Road, NantygloG, in the household of her parents Wilsie and Elizabeth, and was recorded as Mary Emma Sutton, aged eight and born in Nantyglo.1
