Francis "Frank" Sackett, son of Israel Sacket and Lucy Doane, was born in West Springfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in March 1827.1,2 He died aged 43 in Westfield, Hampden CountyG, on 1 June 1870 and was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, WestfieldG.4,5 He married in WestfieldG on 29 October 1851, Mary Ann Morse, daughter of William Morse and Ann ___.1,3 Mary was born in EnglandG in 1831.6,7 After Francis's death Mary married second his first cousin Orrin Sackett. Mary died aged 73 in WestfieldG on 11 December 1904 and was buried at Pine Hill CemeteryG.4
     Francis was named as a beneficiary in his father's will made in WestfieldG on 8 April 1844. He was left the residue of real and personal estate with his brother Charles, subject to their paying one-third of the value of the real estate to their sisters Harriet and Mary.8
     In 1850 Francis was living in WestfieldG in the household of his parents Israel and Lucy, and was recorded in the census as Francis Sackett, a whip maker, aged 25 and born in Massachusetts.9
     In 1860 he was living in WestfieldG in the household of his mother Lucy, and was recorded as Frances [sic] Sacket, a farmer, aged 33. His wife Mary, 29, and their daughter Nettie, aged two, were living with him.10
     In 1870 he was living in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, and was recorded as Frances [sic] Sackett, aged 43, a farmer. Living with him were his wife Mary Ann, aged 39, and born in England, and their daughter Emma, aged 12. Also in the household was Daniel Noble, 45, a farm laborer.11
