Lavina Sackett

Lavina Sackett, daughter of Elijah Sackett and Catharine Gibson, was born in Pennsylvania^G on 26 September 1787.^1,2 She died aged 75 in Delaware County, Ohio^G, on 10 August 1863 and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware, Delaware County^G.^2,3 She married on 28 September 1815, John Slack.^1,2 John was born in Pennsylvania^G on 5 November 1791.^4,2 He died aged 72 in Delaware, Ohio^G, on 16 March 1864 and was buried at Oak Grove Cemetery, Delaware^G.^2,3
     In 1850 Lavina was living in Brown, Delaware County, Ohio^G, in the household of her husband John Slack, 57, and was recorded in the census as Lovina Slack, aged 63. Living with them were their children, Elijah, 28, Milla, 21, and Ashmetia, aged 20.⁵
     In 1860 she was living in Brown^G in the household of her husband John Slack, 68, a farmer, and was recorded as Levina Slack, aged 72.⁶
