James Sackett, son of William Sackett and Catherine Sargeant, was born in Orsett, EssexG, on 11 August 1801 and baptized there on 20 September 1801.1 He died aged 45 in OrsettG,2 and was buried there on 28 May 1846.3
     In 1841 James was living at the Crown Inn, Orsett, EssexG, and was recorded in the census as James Sackett, a bricklayer's labourer, aged 38 [actually 39] and born in Essex.4
