Hannah Sacket, daughter of Seth Sacket and Elisabeth Winchel, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 4 March 1754/551,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 3 August 1755.4 She died aged 83 on 5 May 1838 and was buried at Palmer Center Cemetery, Palmer, Hampden CountyG.5 She married in WestfieldG on 10 March 1770, Gordon Sedgwick, son of Samuel Sedgwick and Deborah Higgins.6,7 Gordon was born on 27 July 1748.7 He died aged 89 on 15 January 18387 and was buried at Palmer Center CemeteryG.8
Gordon made his will at Palmer, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 January 1828. After setting aside a "widow's third" for his wife Hannah, he left sums of money to each of his eleven children and appointed his fourth son, John, as executor, instructing him to sell the remaining real estate to meet the bequests. The will was proved in March 1838.
Gordon made his will at Palmer, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 January 1828. After setting aside a "widow's third" for his wife Hannah, he left sums of money to each of his eleven children and appointed his fourth son, John, as executor, instructing him to sell the remaining real estate to meet the bequests.
