Hannah Sacket, daughter of Seth Sacket and Elisabeth Winchel, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 4 March 1754/551,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 3 August 1755.4 She died aged 83 on 5 May 1838 and was buried at Palmer Center Cemetery, Palmer, Hampden CountyG.5 She married in WestfieldG on 10 March 1770, Gordon Sedgwick, son of Samuel Sedgwick and Deborah Higgins.6,7 Gordon was born on 27 July 1748.7 He died aged 89 on 15 January 18387 and was buried at Palmer Center CemeteryG.8
     Gordon made his will at Palmer, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 9 January 1828. After setting aside a "widow's third" for his wife Hannah, he left sums of money to each of his eleven children and appointed his fourth son, John, as executor, instructing him to sell the remaining real estate to meet the bequests. The will was proved in March 1838.

Oldest daughter Betty Barrett wife of Moses Barrett, $250, 18 months after my decease.
Second daughter Hannah Whitney wife of Jonathan Whitney, $400, less note for $90, 18 months after my decease.
Third daughter Martha Sedgwick, $400.
Fourth daughter Sally Webber wife of Jonathan Webber, $400.
Fifth daughter Anne Chapman wife of Jacob Chapman, $400.
Sixth daughter Polly Merrick wife of Alanson Merrick, $400 less notes held against her.
Residue to all children in ratios 2 to each son and 1 to each daughter.
Sole executor: Fourth son John. To sell all real estate to benefit of heirs.
Witnesses: Wilson Foster, Keyes Foster, Bela Hicks.
