Abigail Sacket, daughter of Samuel Sacket and Ruth Trumble, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, on 27 April 17451,2,3 and baptized at the Church of Christ, WestfieldG, on 5 May 1745.4 She died aged 27 in ConnecticutG on 4 October 1771.5 She married in Canaan, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 30 November 1764, John Richards.6
     Abigail was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made at Sheffield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 3 April 1760. She was left a one-fifth share of his estate, subject to her mother's "widow's third."
