Ann Sackett, daughter of Paul Sackett and Ann (___) Simmons, was baptized at St John in Thanet, KentG, on 7 August 1740.1 She died unmarried aged 41 and was buried at St John in ThanetG on 17 July 1781.2
     Ann was named in her father Paul's will made at MargateG on 4 April 1752.3
     Ann made her will at St John in ThanetG on 1 May 1781, the main beneficiaries being her nephews, Paul Sackett and Thomas Wheatley Sackett, minor sons of her late brother Paul.4 They were to inherit all her lands and the residue of her estate when they reached 21. The assets were to be put in a trust in the meantime, the income to be used to provide for her nephews' support and education.

If both die before age 21, then reversion to heirs of late brother Paul Sackett. Residual goods to be sold & money to Francis Cobb on trust to be place in Government or other good security. Interest to nephews Paul & Thomas until age 21, then to be divided between them.
