A telegram from John Patterson, Columbus, Ohio, to E. Leroy Galt announces the death of his wife, Mrs. Carrie Sackett Patterson. Both Mr. and Mrs. Sackett (sic) were raised in Sterling and have a large circle of acquaintances here. Mrs. Patterson was a daughter of Mr. Fred Sackett, a former prominent attorney of this city, and was a sister of Mr. Walter Sackett. She was at one time librarian of the public library when It was located on First avenue. The funeral will occur in that city on Monday. Mrs. Patterson's death will be mourned by many in this city, who have held during the many years of her absence a tender feeling for her.
