Hannah Jane Sackett, daughter of Richard Thomas Sackett and Ann Elizabeth Reed, was born in Stratford, EssexG, in 18611,2 and baptized at All Saints, West Ham, EssexG, on 18 April 1863.3 She died aged about 81 in Ipswich, Queensland, AustraliaG, on 18 March 1943 and was buried at Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens, Brisbane, QueenslandG.5,6 Hannah emigrated from England to Australia sometime before 1896. She married in QueenslandG on 2 May 1896, George William Daye, son of John Daye and Maria Whitstone Stawell.4 George was born in Bray, Berkshire, EnglandG, in 1870.6 He died aged about 80 in Ipswich, QueenslandG, on 7 July 1950 and was buried at Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens, BrisbaneG.6
