Alice Josephine Smith, daughter of John Munson Smith and Jane Agnes Sackett, was born in New York State^G in May 1841.^1,2 She married on 26 May 1864, Charles Friedman, son of Joseph Friedman and Marie Antoinette ___.¹

Ida Aurelia Sackett, daughter of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York State^G, on 26 July 1852.^1,2 She married in Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, on 23 December 1873, Frank Burgett Rockwell, a farmer.³ Frank was born in Ingham County, Michigan^G, about 1852.²

Fred C Sackett, son of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York State^G, on 11 August 1854.^1,2 He died aged 74 in Albion, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, on 17 April 1929³ and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Albion^G.³ He married in Albion^G on 16 November 1880, Caroline M "Carrie" Dorrance, daughter of William Dorrance and Eliza King.^1,3,4 Caroline was born in Canton, Fulton County, Illinois^G, on 9 January 1859.^5,6 She died aged 72 in Albion^G on 28 August 1931 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Albion^G.³
     In 1860 Fred was living in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York State^G, in the household of his parents James and Aurelia, and was recorded in the census as Fred Sackett, aged five and born in New York.⁷
     In 1900 he was living at Ingham Street, Albion City, Calhoun County, Michigan^G, and was recorded as Fred C Sackett, a clerk in dry goods, head of household, 45 and born New York. Living with him were his wife Carrie, 42, and their children, William, 18, and Catherine, aged one. Fred's parents James and Aurelia were living next door.⁸
     In 1910 he was living at Ingham Street, Albion^G, and was recorded as Fred C Sacett [sic], a dry goods salesman, aged 54. Living with him were his wife Carrie, 50, their daughter Katharyn, 12, and Fred's widowed father James, 91.⁹
     In 1930 Fred's widow Caroline was living at Michigan Avenue, Albion^G, in the household of her daughter Katharyn and son-in-law Howell Van Gorden, and was recorded in the census as Carrie M Sacket, aged 71 and born in Illinois.¹⁰

Curtis A Sackett, son of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born on 14 July 1857.¹ He married Eva Kelley.¹
