Fred C Sackett, son of James Henry Sackett and Aurelia Chapin, was born in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York StateG, on 11 August 1854.1,2 He died aged 74 in Albion, Calhoun County, MichiganG, on 17 April 19293 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, AlbionG.3 He married in AlbionG on 16 November 1880, Caroline M "Carrie" Dorrance, daughter of William Dorrance and Eliza King.1,3,4 Caroline was born in Canton, Fulton County, IllinoisG, on 9 January 1859.5,6 She died aged 72 in AlbionG on 28 August 1931 and was buried at Riverside Cemetery, AlbionG.3
     In 1860 Fred was living in Aurelius, Cayuga County, New York StateG, in the household of his parents James and Aurelia, and was recorded in the census as Fred Sackett, aged five and born in New York.7
