Margaret Sackett, of Thanet, Kent, daughter of Edward Sackett and Alice ___, was baptized at St Peter in ThanetG on 14 June 1590.1 She was probably the widow Margarett Jenkin who was buried at St John in ThanetG on 17 December 1665.3 She married first at St Peter in ThanetG on 1 August 1614, John Jarvis.2 He was buried there on 22 April 1627.4 She married second about 1628, Daniel Jenkin.
Margaret was named as a beneficiary in her father's will made at St Lawrence in ThanetG on 20 October 1624.5
Margaret was named as a beneficiary in her brother Robert's will made at St John in ThanetG on 16 February 1660.6
Margaret's father left her a sum of £16 in his will, while her bachelor brother Robert left her a share (with sisters Alice, Helen, and Elizabeth) in an income of £10 to be paid half-yearly to her by her nephew Leonard Austen. Robert also left £39 to Margaret's six surviving children to be shared among them in specified amounts.
