Robert Frederick Stanton Sr, son of Junius Rhoades Stanton and Eva Marshall Sackett, was born in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 8 July 1924.1 He died aged 92 in Meridian, Lauderdale County, MississippiG, on 24 January 2017.1 He married in Las Vegas, Clark County, NevadaG, on 1 April 1950, Ann Louise Smith. Ann was born in Lexington, Holmes County, MississippiG, on 8 December 1923.1 She died aged 38 in Tallahassee, Leon County, FloridaG, on 10 December 1961.1
     In 1930 Robert was living in Tyringham, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, in the household of his parents Junius and Eva, and was recorded in the census as Robt F Stanton, aged five and born in Massachusetts.2
