Mary M Sackett, daughter of Salvatore Seghetti/Sackett and Annunziata "Nancy" Leone, was born in Footedale, German Township, Fayette County, PennsylvaniaG, on 28 November 1910.1 She died aged 73 in Lorain, Lorain County, OhioG, on 14 June 19842,3 and was buried at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Amherst, Lorain CountyG.4 She married in LorainG on 5 November 1931, Rocco "Roy" Candito, son of Joseph Candito and Fannie Romeo.5,6 Rocco was born in Johnstown, Cambria County, PennsylvaniaG, on 16 December 1908.7 He died aged 59 in May 19688,9 and was buried at St Joseph Catholic Cemetery, AmherstG.4
In 1920 Mary was living at New Salem Road, Menallen, Fayette County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents Sam [Salvatore] and Rosy [Annunziata], and was recorded in the census as Mary Sackett, aged ten and born in Pennsylvania.10
In 1930 she was living at 113 Waverly Avenue, Elyria, Lorain County, OhioG, in the household of her father Joseph [Salvatore] and stepmother Barbara, and was recorded as Mary Sacketta [sic], aged 19.11
In 1940 she was living at 50 North Lake Street, South Amherst, Lorain County, OhioG, in the household of her husband Rocco Condito, 31, a job setter in a screw machine factory, and was recorded as Mary Condito, aged 29. Living with them were their children, Nancy, 5, and Janet, aged four. Also in the household were Rocco's father Joseph, 61, and Mary's brothers, Peter, 25, and John, 18.12

Becomes Bride
Miss Mary Sackett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Salvador Sackett of 121 Waverly Court, Elyria, became the bride of Rocco Condito of No. Lake street, South Amherst, on Thursday morning at 9:00 o'clock at St. Agnes Church in Elyria. The bride wore white satin with veil and orange blossoms and carried white roses. Her maid of honor, Miss Viola Armelli wore rose beige and carried pink carnations. Rocco Jeffre served as best man. A reception was held at the home of the groom's parents here immediately following the ceremony. The happy couple will make their home in South Amherst where the groom is employed at the quarries.
