Capt Ethan R Sackett, son of Isaac Sackett and Sarah "Sally" ___, was born in Georgia Center, Franklin County, VermontG, in about 1807. He died aged 34 in Potsdam, St Lawrence County, New York StateG, in February 1841.1,2
     On 20 March 1829 Ethan bought land in PotsdamG from his parents Isaac and Sarah for $140.3
     Ethan was listed in the 1840 census as a householder in PotsdamG.4
