John Madison Gibson, son of John F Gibson and Margaret Catherine Sackett, was born in Shelby County, IndianaG, on 22 July 1875.1 He died aged 70 on 12 May 1946 and was buried at Arlington East Hill Cemetery, Arlington, Rush County, IndianaG.2 He married Cora J Lindale. Cora was born in 1878.2 She died aged about 75 in Rushville, Rush County, IndianaG, on 22 March 1953 and was buried at Arlington East Hill CemeteryG.2
     In 1880 John was living in HanoverG in the household of his parents John and Margaret, and was recorded in the census as John M Gipson [sic], aged four and born in Indiana.3
