Annie Sackett

Annie Sackett was born in Dover, KentG, in about 1884.1 A civil birth registration is not found and her parents have not been identified.
     In 1901 Annie was living at 8 Montague Gardens, DoverG, in the household of Walter Wright, 37, a tax assessor, and was recorded in the census as Annie Sackett, a general domestic servant, aged 17 and born in Dover.2
     In 1911 she was living at Belvedere, Fort George, St Peter Port, GuernseyG, and was recorded as Annie Sackett, a parlourmaid, aged 25. Fort George was then occupied by a British military garrison. Belvedere House was the commanding officer's residence.3
