Harriet A Dewey, daughter of Timothy Dewey Jr. and Clarissa Sacket, was born in Westfield, Hampden County, MassachusettsG, in about 1830.1 She married there on 16 May 1858, Justin Ashley, her second cousin once removed, son of Noah Pease Ashley and Clarissa Bagg Sackett.1
